Lorna moved to New Bern from Iowa where she started taking her art more seriously.
We carry sculptures by the world famous Shona sculptors of Zimbabwe, Africa. Using only crude carving tools and sandpaper, the artist turns a rough stone into a beautiful work of art. The artisans use their sculptures as a way to express their culture, create symbols significant to the artists, as as a way to support their families.
